If you remember, Chigger sadly miscarried about a month before her due date. We had hoped there might be another kid, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
The good news is that she has recovered beautifully! She’s taken to the milk stand like a pro, hopping right up to be milked without hesitation. While this wasn’t the outcome we had hoped for, we’re grateful for her health and resilience.
We plan to try for kids again next year. Sometimes, things don’t go as planned in the goat world, but we keep moving forward, always learning along the way.
